Competition design for the physical trophy created for the Architectura Awards Belgium.

For centuries, bamboo has been one of the most versatile materials in the construction industry—strong, fast-growing, and with high CO absorption.

Based on a thorough form analysis, we examined the layering,

segments, and cutting methods of bamboo. However, it is the node—the point of connection, strength, and growth—that best encapsulates our concept.

To enhance the natural strength of bamboo, we combined it with an innovative PLA variant that mimics the appearance of granite.

Old and new, nature and innovation, united in a single cohesive whole.

Sustainability is not a limitation, but a design principle.
